Upgrades on the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Only Cost $1

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018 has been revealed and Dodge has also announced their pricing information.

The basic edition is available at $84,995. This is the no-options edition that doesn't include the full performance that this model is capable. However, if you want to upgrade to the full package you can do so for just $1.

One whole American dollar will get you their 'Demon Package', this is the optional package that puts the 'Demon' in this Dodge. It includes the all-important ECU upgrade that will allow this demon to run 100+ octane race fuel, increasing the horsepower from 808 through to 840.

This upgrade also includes the narrow front wheel drag racing option, cordless impact wrench, torque wrench, high-flow conical air filter, a jack and a tire pressure gauge.

For only $1, why wouldn't you upgrade?

If you can stretch to another $1 you can get a passenger seat. Another $1 and you'll get a set of rear seats. The truck liner? Just one buck.

Unfortunately, not every upgrade option is $1. If you do want a leather interior, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel and a few other additions, that will cost you a cool $1595.

If you do decide to buy this Demon, you'll get a free days driving training at the Bob Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving in Chandler, Arizona.

It's report that only 3300 models will be released per year and production is set to begin this summer, with dealers expecting their deliveries in fall.
